After 22 years working in the City of London, Geoffrey Rowe decided it was time to change direction and follow instead his long term passion for working with wood. His father was a carpenter, and even while working in the financial markets, Geoffrey continued to develop his skills.
Becoming a true craftsman takes time, determination – and a talented teacher. Geoffrey trained in Fine Furniture Making and Antique Restoration under John Lloyd of ‘Furniture and Cabinet Making’ fame.
He now runs his own workshop in North Mymms, Hertfordshire, and specialises in commissioned pieces of individually designed and hand crafted fine furniture.
