I became a driving instructor because I enjoy working with people and helping them achieve their goals. The way I teach is the way I learn. I always remember things better if I understand why I’m doing things and how they work. When I teach I explain what’s happening and break down the procedure, that way if something doesn’t go to plan you will have the knowledge to fix the mistake, making you a better and more confident driver.
Never be afraid to say “I don’t understand”. When you’re learning something new it’s ok not to understand, that’s why you have a driving instructor. By asking questions I can clarify and explain, or look at what you have been studying in your preparation for the theory test, to help with your understanding and learning.
