J Roberts and sons were formed back in the late sixties by John Roberts. He began landscaping and associated work in the 1950’s where he constructed sports fields, later he became involved with the planting of 10’s of thousands of trees along the new motorway network. This led to him forming his own business and becoming self-employed.
Richard joined in 1981, after spending 3 years at college and passing with credits. J Roberts & sons are now one of the leading companies in the Bristol area carrying out landscaping, grounds maintenance, tree work and general contracting. Operating from our base just 5 minutes from the M4-M5 interchange we have a large yard, workshop, office and a small nursery where trees, shrubs and bedding plants are grown for our contracts and also for general sale to the trade.
